Covering

1 John 5:18

18 We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.

As Christians, we are to walk in holiness because our Heavenly Father is holy.  We do not want to be distant from Him because He could not tolerate sins.  He has called us to obedience.  As we learnt to obey Him, we walk according to His ways and His will.  This pleases Him.

The Bible says that Satan walks about like a devouring lion waiting to attack God’s people.  The more upon those who just received Jesus as their Lord and Savior who is learning to walk in His will.  And also Satan is waiting to pounce upon those who are developing His Kingdom such as evangelism, doing a work of restoring His people.

Jesus’ precious blood is upon us covering us from the Satanic attack, unless we open door to deception and compromising.  This allows Satan the authority to attack and oppresses the Christians.  Disobedient through compromising opens door to Satanic attack.  God cannot cover us because the choice of decision is ours!

Connection

John 15:4-5

4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

Christianity is being connected to the Savior as our life source and support. Without this, we are just playing religious.  This is the point where our prayers to the Lord is real and meaningful.  This is where love offers its true meaning and surface.

Aligning the Focus..

2 Timothy 2:4 NKJV
“No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of  this  life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.”
Yes, this a sweet warning from the above. To stay out of creamy saucy temptation. Every spiritual warrior should stay out of danger and keeps his or her mind totally focus on the Captain and the divine plan which the Captain had set from the beginning.
Hence, another warning to avoid extra baggages which easily keep us out of focus.
Hebrews 12:1-2 NKJV
“Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares  us,  and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,  looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of  our  faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
When we continue to focus on the constant love for the Lord and not forgetting every Words from His Word, our faith on Him will be enhance. We will stay true to His vision and purposes for our lives.
2 Timothy 1:13-14 NKJV
“Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.  That good thing which was committed to you, keep by the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.”
Let us continue to fall in love with Him again and again. Not forgetting the fervant prayers.

By Special Appointments

We must not undermine God's appointed servants.  Sometimes we tend to judge them by their earthly academic qualifications.  When God appoints them, He will surely equips them with His wisdom and special spiritual ability.

All these requires humility and hearts of obedience to accept whom God has appointed.  We will not miss His voice if we change our attitude of humility and submission towards Him.  Examples of His appointed servants from the appointments of  Aaron and sons and Bezaleel.  He equipped them with His special ability.

The Appointment of Aaron and his sons to the Priestly role (Exodus 28:1-3 KJV)
Exo 28:1  And take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron's sons.
Exo 28:2  And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty.
Exo 28:3  And thou shalt speak unto all that are wise hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron's garments to consecrate him, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.

The Appointment of Bezaleel as Craftsman of the Tabernacle (Exodus 31:1-3 KJV)
Exo 31:1  And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
Exo 31:2  Behold, I, I have called by name Bezaleel, the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.
Exo 31:3  And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all workmanship,
