THE POWER THAT CAN SAVE....

" For the preaching of the cross is foolishness to those being lost, but to us being saved, it is the power of God." 1Corinthians 1:18

Today I went to visit a sick person.  I don't know how to lead him to know the Lord.  Family members were worried of his unbelieve and afraid his refusal might offend me.  Well, I am going to take the chance anyway.  Who am I that I should question the Lord?  It is His work, not mine.  The Holy Spirit is the one who convicts.  

After some conversation, I took the chance to ask if he believe the Lord?  I trusted the promises from His word :

" Because if you confess the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.  For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses unto salvation. "  Romans 10:9-10

Surprisingly, the man said "Yes."  He believed.  I laid hands and led him with the sinners' prayer to the Lord.  I trusted his heart believed that the Lord can heal him of his illness.  I believed that his faith was genuine because he humbly allows me to lay hands and he repeated after me in prayer.  I can see the softness and humble submission in his eyes.  I was very happy today for this simple task not for me to judge but after all the ability and glory ... belongs to the Holy Spirit.  I only submit in partnership :D

"LOVE" SUPERCEDES ALL...

But now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; and the greatest of these is love. 
1 Corinthians 13:13

God is love.  This love is free to all.  It is unconditional.  He is near you if you need to know Him.  


Just as a piece of rainbow is made up of 7 pretty colors.  The word "Love" is made up of several wonderful elements - "kindness, goodness, gracefulness, patience, sacrifice, gentleness, generousity..."
